Pandin Lake & Yambo Lake: PHP400 worth El Nido-like experience:

Experience this hidden gem for just 400 pesos, ALL IN!

Cant afford to visit El Nido?

Hidden in the land of San Pablo City, Laguna, just 3 hours away from Manila, is an amazing gem called Pandin Lake. Pandin Lake is one of the seven lakes, San Pablo City is famous for. We haven’t visited the other lakes yet, but I heard Pandin Lake’s the best.

Crystal clear waters, breathtaking view of the landscape, the feel of fresh air, ahhhhh you will never get tired of this place! A destination that truly looks like paradise!! This place definitely will take your breath away.

TREKKING

Before we reached the lake, we have to trek for about 15 minutes. (No need for a guide.) As we reached the starting point of the trek, we were greeted by tall instagrammable coconut trees and masususungit cows along the trail. As we walked along, the sights get more and more beautiful, getting us a little more excited for the final destination

Once you arrive the place, locals will guide you to one of the rafts and will take you to one of the swimming spots in the lake. The rafting experience is good for 2 hours so make sure you maximize your time well. As for us, most of the time were spent to taking photos and swimming. We just ate our lunch after the ride.

SWIMMING

Pandin Lake’s deepness ranges from 40ft to 100ft deep! The swimming area is at 80 ft deep. Don’t worry, for those who can’t swim life vests are provided. The water is so refreshing! It’s super clean that you can even see your reflection from the water. Its also not that cold, and not that hot. Actually its a balance which made the water so relaxing! We actually stayed in the water for about 2 hours!! Walang kapaguran!

HIKING

The place not just includes swimming but also a 3 minutes mini-hike going to the lake’s twin, Yambo lake! The hike’s easy, so no need to worry for those inexperienced!

FOOD

Included in the entrance fee is a scrumptious lunch by the lake. The food includes grilled tilapia, ginataang hipon, ensaladang pako, rice, banana and mineral water. The food is already more than enough for your tummy! SUPER SULIT!

CAMPING

The place also offers overnight camping. The rates vary, so better contact them beforehand!

Pandin Lake was a place that definitely put us in awe. Our mouths literally drop to the floor when we saw this beautiful magical place. The water is so perfect! You cant get tired of swimming on it. Plus it’s relaxing!!

    1. Hi bebe! OMG i wasnt checking my dms sa ig eh 😦 Buti nagcomment ka! Anyway, im not really sure yung layo ng majayjay sa san pablo since we wen’t there on different dates. Im also not sure of the commute system from one place in Laguna to another. Cubao/ Buendia lang ang familiar ako eh huhuhu. But Im pretty sure the locals know the way. You can ask them naman! We always do that hihi.

    1. Hi Rakel! I believe you can bring your own food naman! In that case, the rate will be cheaper, around 160 ata? πŸ™‚ Life vests are mandatory in that place actually! We just pushed kuya guide na hindi suotin cause hassle sa leeg hehe
