A perfect Christmas getaway for A DAY NEAR MANILA

Few days left before the happiest day of the year: Christmas day!! And I know most of us are already craving for a getaway- especially those who are having a Christmas break this season (swerte niyo po.) However, due to the peak season, it’s really expensive to travel / magwalwal around the Philippines. You may also be too busy because of your upcoming family events, and/or the Christmas shopping and the like, so you don’t have the time to travel far away from Manila.

Well forget about peak prices and your stress that Christmas can give you, you have to take a break, spoil yourself, and take advantage of the Christmas season. Dude, ’tis the season to be jolly, so anuna bes?

Here’s a few suggestions you can visit in ONE DAY. It requires a minimum budget (goodbye peak prices), and also doesn’t take all your time in traveling (so you still have the time for your Christmas need to dos). They are just 30 minutes away Manila!

PS: You have to be strict with your time to visit all these places.

STOP #1: Yellow Bird Cafe x Kitchen

Location: Mission Hills, Antipolo

Why not have your breakfast/ lunch/ miryenda in a Christmas-y restaurant? Hihihi yes yes?

This is actually a newly opened restaurant in Antipolo. As you can see, it has a unique interior which makes you feel the Christmas vibe around the place. It also has an instagrammable wall which I know you’ll love it!

As for the food and its price, its reasonable! It won’t hurt your wallet. The food we tried were great, except for the Steak which is a bit overcooked so it has that bitter taste. It was also tough which makes the cutting hard. But their sauce was great! The lemon chicken was incredible. Nakakakilig yung lasa!
