Our Experience

It was one mejo sunny + mejo rainy day when we decided to head to Antipolo, Rizal, which is just 2 hours away from the city of Manila. We were craving for an adventure but a bit worried about the weather. Thankfully we discovered this epic ATV activity!! We’re game on this exciting activity no matter what the weather’s condition is.

GAME ON!

We took the Marikina River Tour Adventure, which is the most chosen package, and at the same time the most fun + more challenging one! This activity is a 3- 4 hours journey to the deep jungle of Rizal; passing by muddy trails, pine trees and hilly terrain. We started off in a smooth road, passing by friendly locals who didn’t hesitate to greet us along the way. It was a good start of an epic adventure!

As we continue our escapade, our road is getting rougher and rougher, where the beauty of the forest is starting to welcome us. It was one heck of an amusing ride since the surroundings are breathtaking and the road is challenging. It’s as if we were legit adventurers venturing into the wild with our trusty ride. I swear, it was so fun! The best part of this forest trail is where we get to pass by uphill and downhill roads ++ get soaked on muddy / wet trails!! I wouldn’t mind repeating that over and over again- even if it takes for me to be so muddy and dirty.

The last section of the path we’re taking is the river trail, where we’ll get to witness the Marikina river, and even drive into the waters and get all soaked up!! (Wahhhhhh, ang saya bes) From here, you can explore the area- swim into the river, and/ or see the hanging bridge nearby.

After a couple of minutes exploring the area, it’s time to move into another phase; it’s time to reconnoiter the historical mountain of Mt. Sinai in San Mateo, Rizal. From here, we were able to perceive an overlooking view of Sierra Madre Range, and also encountered the large stone tablet where the 10 commandments are written in this mountain. It was remarkable.

We, then, proceeded to our last destination: the hanging bridge. This was the most challenging trail we had, since the path is very narrow which makes the driving tough. It also involves extremely steep trails which will require more strength from your ATV driving. But at the end of the trail, it was incredibly satisfying!

What to Expect?

1. You will totally get muddy and dirty

Make this Adventure more worth it naman! Ride as if there are no reservations! If there is a muddy trail ahead, don’t doubt, just ride! Promise bes, you’ll enjoy asf.

2. Rain will make the ride more fun

There’s nothing like having an adventure more than you expected. Believe me, the rain will make the ride more epicly enjoyable!!

3. 3-4 hours of riding the ATV ain’t that tiring, but it’s more than enough!

You’ll not feel bitin nor bored during and after the activity. The duration just perfectly fit with your satisfaction.

4. It might get very hot during summer

Well imagine riding the ATV under the scorching sun?! IKR, Sunog ang balat ni aqouh. You’ll definitely get tanned in that case. But worry not, you won’t actually feel the heat during the ride since the wind will overcome the hotness.

5. Be the last in the line

You get my point? Bes, pumewesto ka sa pinakalikod ng linya. Well, basically, I suggest that you place yourself last in the line when you’re with other group of people. Being first might bore you since the phasing of the ride may be slow especially when the other people are beginners and hesitant to accelerate fast. Being last in the line will give you that opportunity to stop for a bit and let the others in front of you to move and create a gap between the both of you. In this case, there will be more room for your to speed up and have more fun! GETS BA BES HAHAHA

6. When all’s said and done, well, with no doubt, you will totally gonna have fun!

ATV adventures like these are so seldom (probably almost inexistent) here in Manila. This is definitely a perfect opportunity to try new things and take your getaways to the next level!
