Siem Reap Travel Guide: Angkor Wat Tour

There’s no question, Angkor Wat is marvelously beautiful that will absolutely leave you speechless and stunned in just a second once encountered! Millions of people fly over Cambodia just to witness the beauty of its temples- will you want to be one of them?

Well, I am one of them 🙂 I personally can say, without a doubt, that Angkor Wat is more than worthy to be visited. Stretching over approximately 400 square km which consists of hundreds of stunning and inspiring temples, this place is a miracle.

Pre Travel Guide:

samuibus_banner_logo_red.png How to get around Angkor Wat?

Easy. All you have to do is hire a tuktuk driver. There are A LOT of tuktuks around Siem Reap and it’ll be impossible if you can’t find one. These tuktuk rides are up for a whole day rent around Angkor Wat. Usual fare is 13 USD per tuktuk- which covers a whole day tour around the recognized temples of the park.

If you’re a solo traveler, I recommend you to find someone you can share the tuktuk with to lessen the cost.

Tour Price
Mini Tour ( Angkor Wat, Bayon, etc..) 13 $
Grand Tour (Neak Poan, Preah Khan, etc..) 15 $
 Grand Tour & Banteay Srei 22 $

7 Days 72 $

Personally, I really highly suggest that you get your own tour guide. Tuktuk drivers can be one, by the way. Well, the park is very huge and you don’t want to waste your time locating the temples that you want to visit, right? Tour guides have more knowledge of getting around the park, thus it will totally save you time if you hire one!

Visual Tour:

Angkor Wat Park has a lot of significant archaeological sites- which is approximately over 1000 Temples- all has its unique beauty and worth. Not a day is actually enough for you to visit all these. If you’re like us, who only have a day to explore the park, I highly recommend you to do the Mini Tour which covers the most recognized ones!
