Binalayan Hidden Falls

Binayalan Hidden falls is a two-in-one waterfalls that is just five minutes away from Aguinid Falls. It offers impressive views and stunning backgrounds for photos! The word “hidden” suits the place well as the falls can be found in the midst of the forest. It is not as crowded as Aguinid falls and the very popular Kawasan falls which makes it one of Cebu’s best-kept secrets. Binalayan Hidden Falls is the perfect place to wind down, relax, and be one with nature.

Also located in Samboan is the town’s highest waterfalls. Dau Falls is also considered as one of the most beautiful attractions in Cebu and it has also gained popularity over the years. Compared to Aguinid Falls and Binalayan Hidden Falls, Dau Falls is located the farthest from the town proper. Dau Falls is situated in Suba which is a highland barangay. The trek was difficult, lengthy, and challenging. It took us around 30-45 minutes before we reached the falls. But it was so worth it. I really enjoyed the falls. One thing I have learned from the past few years that I have been traveling around is that it’s always nice to plan ahead of your trips, but the best moments are most likely experienced when you let spontaneity take over. There are a ton of popular destinations around the country, but sometimes, the off-beaten path is worth the try. You will end up discovering the unexplored and it will be worth it. It’s nice to be somewhere secluded for a while, away from the flock of tourists and just be in a calming environment.

So, pack your bags and head down to South Cebu for an adventure of a lifetime! YES?
